About this app

Know what’s below before it passes.

OutMyWindow turns your flight into a live guide to the world below. Follow your route in real time, discover the places passing beneath you, and check the estimated timing and viewing side for upcoming places.

THE WINDOW SEAT, UPGRADED

OutMyWindow is built for curious travelers, not pilots. It gives you a clear, visual way to experience the world outside your window without the clutter of a traditional flight tracker.

- Follow your position on a live in-flight map
- Explore immersive 3D map, wing, and cockpit views
- Discover more than 150,000 cities, landmarks, landscapes, parks, stadiums, lakes, mountains, and other points of interest
- Track your route against the airline’s filed flight plan when available

SEE WHAT’S COMING NEXT

While following your flight in the app, see which places are coming up, their estimated time to pass, and which side of the aircraft has the view—so you can spend less time guessing and more time looking outside.

BRIEF BEFORE BOARDING

Preview your flight before takeoff with a curated briefing of places worth watching for along the route. Explore what may be ahead and choose the view you do not want to miss.

WEATHER ALONG THE WAY

Add weather, cloud, and turbulence layers to see the conditions around your route alongside the world below.

KEEP FOLLOWING, EVEN OFFLINE

No in-flight Wi-Fi? Offline Mode uses your phone’s GPS to follow your position and keep the world below moving with your journey.

KEEP EVERY JOURNEY

After landing, revisit your route and the places you passed with your personal flight history.
