About this app

A scientific calculator that behaves like the one on your desk. Type the whole expression, see the result update as you go, and keep the working out on screen instead of in your head.

Everything runs on your phone, with no account and no connection.

WHAT IT CALCULATES

• Trigonometry — sin, cos, tan and their inverses, in degrees or radians
• Logarithms — ln and log, plus eˣ and 10ˣ on the SHIFT layer
• Powers and roots — x², x³, xʸ, square root and cube root
• Reciprocal (1/x), factorial (n!) and percent
• The constants π and e
• Parentheses, with the closing ones filled in for you

HOW IT WORKS

Write the expression the way you would on paper. 2π, 3(4+5) and 2sin(30) all multiply on their own, so you can skip the × key. The line under your input shows the running answer before you even press equals.

Results carry ten significant digits and switch to scientific notation for very large and very small numbers. The decimal separator follows your language: a comma where your school taught you a comma.

MEMORY AND HISTORY

MC, MR, M+ and M− hold a running total while you work through a longer problem. Ans drops the previous result into the next expression.

The history sheet keeps your recent calculations. Tap any line to load that expression back into the keypad and edit it.

BUILT FOR

• Secondary school and university coursework
• Homework, revision and lab work
• Engineering, surveying and trade calculations
• Anyone who wants a calculator that opens instantly

OFFLINE, ALWAYS

Every calculation happens on the device. No sign-up, no connection, no personal data collected. It works on the train, in a basement lab and on a plane.

PRO

The full keypad, degrees and radians, memory keys and history are all available without paying. Pro raises the number of calculations kept in history from 20 to 500, adds the matte black and arctic white shells, and removes the ads.

Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. Ads are still shown during the trial. After that it renews as a weekly subscription and the ads stop. Cancel anytime in Google Play.

If you bought Pro before, you keep it for good, with no subscription.

SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR FOR STUDENTS AND ENGINEERS

A good scientific calculator handles the expressions you meet in physics, chemistry, and engineering: sin(45°), log₁₀(1000), e^(2.5), √(3² + 4²). This one handles all of them, typing left to right the way a textbook writes them. No mode-switching between basic and scientific — every function is one key or one SHIFT away.

CALCULATOR FOR TRIGONOMETRY AND LOGARITHMS

Switch degrees and radians with a single key. Degrees for geometry and bearing problems; radians for calculus and wave functions. The inverse trig functions (arcsin, arccos, arctan) sit on the SHIFT layer. Natural log ln and common log log₁₀ are both available, with their inverses eˣ and 10ˣ. Results show to ten significant figures, switching to scientific notation for very large or very small values automatically.

EXPRESSION CALCULATOR: TYPE THE WHOLE SUM

Most basic calculators force you to evaluate in steps. This one evaluates the whole expression: type (3.5 × sin(30)) ÷ cos(45) and press equals once. The running preview under the input shows the live result as you type, so you catch a bracket error before you commit. Implicit multiplication handles 2π and 3(4+5) without an extra key. It works the way you write in your exercise book, not the way a 1980s pocket calculator forced you to think.

Stop borrowing a calculator. Keep this one in your pocket.

FRACTION AND DECIMAL CALCULATOR

Enter fractions as decimal equivalents — 3/4 becomes 0.75, 2/3 becomes 0.667. The result shows to ten significant figures. Scientific notation appears automatically for very large values (Avogadro's number: 6.022 × 10²³) or very small ones (electron mass: 9.109 × 10⁻³¹). The expression evaluator handles mixed fractions and irrational numbers in one typed expression.
