About this app

Through the Grow Green project you will be able to know the biodiversity of the Benicalap neighborhood, identify its trees and help make a census of the birds that fly over it. A project for greener and more sustainable cities against climate change.

The main objective of this mobile application is to publicize the actions of the project and promote citizen participation in its monitoring. Grow Green is an association of greener cities to increase livability, sustainability and business opportunities.

Download the app, look around you and you will discover the types of trees, shrubs and other plants that surround you in the Benicalap neighborhood. Now look at the sky, observe the urban birds and use the application to identify and count them.

Through a bird directory you can identify the species and indicate the number of birds you see at that time; With your help we will be able to carry out a collaborative census of birds in the neighborhood and improve our knowledge of our biodiversity and the city of Valencia.

Specifically, this application is intended to:

- Promote citizens' learning and sensitivity about biodiversity
local.
- Promote citizen science oriented to the bird census
- Contribute to the detection of incidents related to biodiversity
- Provide information on spaces that generate more sustainable mobility
- Know the social functions of green spaces
