Ratings and reviews

Fun at first but gets pretty monotonous. It feels bad to lose so much progress when you die and the classes you unlock feel weaker than the warrior. Also it would be nice if there was more information on where you collect certain items. I find myself not even wanting to try to defeat the boss because you lose so much if you fail. Too much dependency on rng to complete a loop.

It makes sense as to why I love this game, I am an avid Dead Cells player and I love its simple design and easy-to-pick-up nature as well as the complex storytelling through the surroundings you find through progression. This game does the same very well except with a 2D town micro managing twist and it works wonderfully. I highly recommend this game development company as a whole and to say try all their games.

I adored this game when I randomly played it on game pass and stopped playing (attention span issue) but have been thinking about it ever since. I'm glad it's available on here and it's absolutely worth the $7 for the full version. It has a special something other games of its ilk simply don't have, and I wish I was better at words to finely put a point on what that is. Not for everyone but it's definitely amazing if it's for you.
