Solid 3.5 stars. + 0.5 for originality. The game is pretty deep considering the bare-bones UI, graphical experience, and minimal design. But I find the hidden information aspect to he a little overbearing. I love having to discover everything about how the game works. I don't love having to memorize what I've discovered while going days without playing. I'd love for the game to tell you more about the outcomes and recipes once you've seen them a number of times.

Fantastic atmosphere, and the games mechanics really add to it. You need to approach this game as a mystery to solve. It is unapologetically cryptic, so you need to be willing to experiment and fail a few games before you understand what's going on. The fun is in unravelling the rules yourself and then using them to succeed in your dark twisted goals.

Very unique, interesting, and deep game although sometimes frustratingly obtuse. Exploration is obviously part of the interest, but some UI elements could be better explained and there are times where some things don't work and it's not clear why - leading to some frustration. Overall a breath of fresh air.
