The municipality of Arucas is the gateway to the north of Gran Canaria, a mandatory stop where you can live experiences that will make you fall in love with its streets, its culture and its people. Cathedral-shaped churches, century-old wineries, gardens with elves, charming corners and lots of flavor. Arucas keeps a place in his heart for you and we want you to discover it. Arucas makes you fall in love is a mobile application in which you can discover the tourist resources of Arucas, the gateway to the North of Gran Canaria, in the historic center and on the coast.
Visit Arucas:
Historic Center: this guide is aimed at the adult public and shows interesting information about the different points of tourist interest that we have in our Historic Center such as the Church of San Juan Bautista, the Casa Gourié Municipal Museum, the Interpretation Center del Labrante or the Arehucas Rum Factory, among others.
Costa de Arucas and surroundings: this guide is aimed at the most adolescent and adult audience, and will provide you with the location and interesting information of the different points of tourist interest in this area of our municipality, from majestic gardens to black sand beaches, museums, viewpoints and natural pools.
Play in Arucas:
Central Route: many years ago, a beautiful story called “Grandpa Peak's Gift” was written to show children and families the heritage of Arucas and this is a tribute that we want to pay him. To do this, the park elf will accompany them along the route, where they will have to overcome a series of objectives such as searching for objects with augmented reality, taking and sharing selfies or answering questions, until they complete all the missions.
Coastal route and surroundings: you will find a lot of interesting information and you will be able to participate in my treasure hunt. The treasure hunt consists of collecting the coins on the 3D map - to get them simply touch them - and then throw them into the chest at the assigned points of interest playing AR LAUNCH. These points will be “capturable”, that is, they will be the property of the players who have thrown the most coins into them. Will you be able to get them all?
Each Point of Interest has photographs, texts and the possibility of rating and posting a review to help other travelers.
The mobile application has the following functionalities:
