Ratings and reviews

Playtest is great. Keep your profile updated. You can play new games so you can be selected for a variety of playtests. I have Turtle Beach headphones to double check my audio. Make sure you're recording your gameplay and the red bar is around your screen. If it stops recording, go back to the playtest app or restart your phone so it doesn't crash when loading the game you're testing.

The app pays you to test games and do a short survey. So far I've tested 3. Each time they paid out $13 except one that I was unable to finish becauss it caused a lot of lag and my system UI to crash. they still paid $6.50 for that when I wasn't able to complete the task. They use a third party payout to pay and it's usually within 3 days of the test. I highly recommend this app. My only hope is that they will send me tests more frequently.

I was 30 minutes into a recording when I had to pause due to loud background noises. Upon trying to resume, none of my progress was saved and I had to start over from the beginning. Very frustrating. This was during a type of test where it was a survey type format without actual gameplay. Update: Changed from 1 star to 3 stars because developer acknowledged the issue and paid me.
