Wordfive is a new kind of word puzzle that's part word search, part sudoku.

5 five-letter words are hidden in a 5x5 grid of letters, but 5 letters are missing! It's up to you to replace the 5 letters back in the grid to make 5 five-letter words.

The Wordfive app is free to download and play with ads and includes unlimited play, statistics, and some unlockable customization color features.

The full game can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. The full game removes all ads forever and includes all unlockable color schemes (including animated color schemes) and fully customizable victory messages.

This game is very easy to pick up and play, and it requires just the right amount of thinking to keep things fun and light (think Wordle levels of thinking). If you are a fan of word games I highly recommend this! it's a unique twist on the formula with a familiar feeling that you'll get right away.

This is a fun and colorful word game! I play at least a few rounds every day. If you like the NYT games, you'll enjoy Wordfive, too

What’s new

Thank you to all Wordfive players! This update fixes several bugs reported by the community. It also updates Wordfive for Android 16, moves the Runfive button to the main screen, and allows for landscape orientation for easier play on larger screens.
