This app is a great concept if it works. The Jobs were never accepted. I paid 62 dollars for my self and my grandparents($124) homes to be plowed. The app takes your cash with no guarantee of arrival times. I requested asap service ... Almost 4 hours later and I have yet to hear from anyone on the requested work. So I cancelled the requests and now I must wait 2-4 days for my refund for services not rendered. They really need to do better.
Well I live in the snow capital of the Northeast, Syracuse NY, and today was the second time we used this horrendous service. The first time they plowed a pathway, not the Driveway which was what I paid for. Then a second guy had to come and clean it up and it finally looked like what I paid for. The same happened today, and this time even the second guy didnt know how to correctly plow a 2 car driveway! So I paid 30 dollars for a half plowed Driveway. Now I will be deleting this useless app! Don't use it
From downloading the app, to creating a profile, to ordering a plow during a blizzard, to working with customer service, to the actual plow service... everything has been great! Our plow showed up earlier than anticipated (we selected after 3pm cause we were in no rush to get out of the house) and he cleared our driveway quick and efficiently! With the smaller amount of snow we've had this season, this has been a great way to get plowing when needed without having to spend the money on a full season! Customer service was great too when I needed to add a note for my plow driver!
Put a request for a plow at 6:30am and quote was 32 dollars. Job assigned at 6:42am and by 12:30 no sign of anyone. Looked on the app and saw it had been cancelled. Was never notified so sat waiting 6 hrs for a plow that was not coming. Went to reschedule and quote was 54 dollars! Not cool. Felt completely taken advantage of. Ended up shoveling the driveway ourselves. Never again. If you're overwhelmed from a storm, then say you can't accept any more requests at that time. And gouging on the price is really unacceptable.
So I order a snow plow I chose asap option and that says within 4 hours. After ordering I recieve email stating we will let you know when a provider has taken your job. So at the very least I'm expecting to hear back from someone, 2 hours go by the next email I get says the job is finished and sends me a picture of my half plowed driveway. Now I live in Syracuse we just got 3 feet of snow maybe even more. I also live in a cul-de-sac, basically a dead end street so when it snows we cannot park in the street we have to leave room for the plows. At the very least I'm expecting some kind of notification to have me prepared that a provider is on their way or at least the email they promised me letting me know the job has been filled. The end result is me paying a premium price for bad service and only HALF of my driveway plowed all because of a lack of communication. Not a happy customer!! UPDATE: Spoke with someone at customer service and they are going to send the provider back out to plow the rest of my driveway. Super thankful for that, and the good customer service. Rocky start but sounds like a good finish. Mistakes happen but they are making it right. I'd recommend their service for everyone.
Great job. Showed up in the time frame I was told and the one who did the work made sure I was satisfied with the work he had done before he left!. Good first experience!.
