Scan a bag in the store or photograph the ingredient panel at home, and ChowScan shows the flagged ingredients, the beneficial ones, and a cited source behind every flag. No chemistry degree, no account, and no sign-up.

HOW THE SCORE WORKS
Every top ingredient is checked against a curated, in-app ingredient dictionary. Named proteins, whole foods, and helpful additives lift the score. Artificial preservatives, dyes, added sugar, and unnamed meat sources pull it down. The same rubric applies to every product, and each flag links to a public source so you can make your own call. It is an ingredient checker for pet food, not a verdict on a brand.
