What is Plumber in ITI? -

A plumber is one trade in ITI that deals with the study of fitting of water machinery. It is a 1-year technical program in which you will get both practical as well as theoretical knowledge. In this course, you will be taught about the types of water motors, tools, machinery, safety equipment, waterproof products, etc. Also, you will learn a lot of things by doing practical training like repairing of leakage water pipeline, fitting of pipelines, etc.

ITI Plumber Eligibility -

Candidates must full fill these eligibility criteria in order to take admission in the ITI Plumber course. The eligibility criteria for ITI in Plumber trade are as follow:

*Students must have passed in 10th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education.
*12th and graduation passed candidates can aslo eligible to apply.
*Students should get at least 40% marks in their respective examination.
*Students should be minimum 15 years of age at the time of admission.

ITI Plumber Course Duration -

The duration of the ITI Plumber course is 1 year and the full course is divided into 2 semesters. The duration of each semester is 6 months.

ITI Plumber Admission -

The admission process for ITI courses depends on institute types. The majority of the government ITI institutes take admission on the basis of merit list or entrance exam based whereas the majority of the private ITI institutes take direct admission without taking any entrance examination. So, the admission method varies.

Direct Admission:- For the direct admission process, candidates must have to fill the admission application form and submit it to the institutes. Also, candidates have to pay the application form fee.

Merit-Based Admission:- In this process, candidates are selected on the basis of a merit list and the merit list is released by the respected authorities. Candidates have to fill the application form and wait until the merit list is released. The merit list is based on the candidate’s performance which they score in their previous examination. If your name comes on the merit list then you are eligible to take admission.

Entrance Based Admission:- In this process, candidates are selected on the basis of the scope which they get in the entrance examination. After submitting the application form, candidates have to give the entrance exam which is conducted by the institute or board authorities. Based on your score or rank you get admission to ITI institute.

The ITI admission form for government ITI institutes in every state in India is release by every state education board. Generally, the form is released in the mid of every year.
