Build a robot. Program it. Watch it go!
BotPebble: Robot Lab is a building and coding game for kids aged 6 to 15. Pick a body, wheels, a sensor, an arm and a tool,
then snap together simple blocks to tell your robot what to do. Press RUN and watch your robot drive, fly, grab,
spray and rescue in a bright 3D park.
When something goes wrong, Pip the helper bot explains why in plain words and suggests one thing to try. There is
no penalty for failing - just change one thing and try again. That is how real engineers work.
WHAT KIDS DO
- Build robots from 34 bodies: cars, choppers, jets, trucks, a dinosaur, a puppy, a dragon, a knight and more
- Choose how they move: wheels, tracks, walking legs, hover pads, rotors or jets
- Add tools: water sprayer, saw, ball launcher, shovel and hammer
- Program with tap-to-add blocks: GO TO, FIND, PICK UP, USE TOOL, REPEAT, IF and more
- Play 130 story missions in 33 worlds: fight fires, cut trees, build a house, rescue a kitten, fly over rivers
- Older players: take on the 3 Engineer Lab missions (133 missions in all), where IF blocks, battery planning and a clock decide who wins
- Switch on Code view to see every program written as Python-style code
- Practise with 500 extra lessons that get harder step by step
- Unlock 31 more robot bodies as you finish levels
WHAT KIDS LEARN
- Sequencing, loops and conditions (IF inside IF in the Engineer Lab)
- How blocks turn into real code (Code view)
- Engineering trade-offs: speed or grip, big battery or light robot
- Sensors and how robots "see"
- Debugging: notice what went wrong, change one thing, test again
MADE FOR FAMILIES
- Optional rewarded ads for cosmetic rainbow paint; occasional ads between completed missions
- No in-app purchases
- No email/password login or chat; gameplay works offline
- Settings sit behind a grown-up check
- Finish all 133 missions to earn the Robot Lab Master certificate; the app always shows how many are left
- Local achievements; optional global ranking under a random robot name (no typed text, country or address is shared)
- Ranking sharing is off by default and protected by a grown-up check
Build a robot, program it with blocks, and send it on 133 fun rescue missions.
