Cutscreen is a screen recorder with a real video editor built in, made for reaction videos, gameplay clips and tutorials. Record your screen, put yourself in it, then cut it down to the part worth sharing, without leaving the app.

RECORD
• 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, or your device's full resolution
• 24, 30, 48 or 60 FPS. Cutscreen checks what your device can actually encode and only offers what will work
• Capture device audio, your microphone, or both mixed together
• Audio-only recording when you don't need the picture
• Add your front or back camera to the same video, in a frame you can drag and resize
• Optional 3, 5 or 10 second countdown before recording starts
• Pause and resume. The paused part never appears in the file
• Quality presets, or set the bitrate yourself

STAY IN CONTROL

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Recording starts only after you accept Android's own screen-sharing prompt
• A notification is visible for the whole recording. Nothing records in the background without you knowing
• Recordings and screenshots are saved to your own gallery folders and are never uploaded by Cutscreen
• Permissions are asked for only when a feature needs them, never at launch

GOOD TO KNOW
• Android blocks capture of protected content, such as banking apps, password fields and DRM video. These appear blank in any screen recorder
• Some apps do not allow their audio to be captured. They record as silence
• 1440p and 60 FPS depend on your device's hardware
• Cutscreen is free and supported by ads. Ads never appear while you record: a small banner on the main screens, and at most one full-screen ad every 3 minutes, before or after a recording, before editing or before an export
