I like the look and feel of the app, and it has some nice features. The biggest issue for me, and a deal breaker, is it does not track episodes you have listened to so you can filter them out. You can mark them as played and it will work for a day maybe then it shows all as unplayed. So if you find a new podcast and start from the beginning, you never know where you are. It is a real shame.

It's a great app for recording with friends on a smartphone but it's not so hot for listening to podcasts. The app is not always downloading episodes when they're published and I keep missing episodes because the app is inconsistent with retrieving and downloading all episodes that are published on a particular channel.

I have used this app for over 5 years and I love it. I've tried different podcatchers , etc., over time and always find myself coming back to podbean. My only real issue is with the search feature when looking for podcasts. To find a certain podcast, you often have to be very very specific in searching the title. And when searching broader terms, a lot of good podcasts are missed in the results. But everything else is spot on wonderful and I doubt I'll ever switch up
