Nice but not intuitive It should not be so hard to create a Playlist. Everything else about the app is amazing.
Works relatively well on Nexus 6 Love that you can log in w/ your Google account & that it is super easy to use. My only consistent issue is that when returning to a steaming podcast after multitasking... the player will stop playing the episode after a while, as if the app has exhausted the cache of what was previously buffered & is now failing to reinitialize a steaming connection. This is easily corrected though by stopping & closing the player itself & then resuming the episode. Will rate 5 Stars if this annoyance is patched. (Updated)
Awesome Great podcast app. Best of all. I've tried other free podcast apps and they seem to have some kind of glich (or downside.)Plus ads. All the other ones as good as this are paid. Beautifully designed, this is a must have for any podcast listener, even if you don't listen much.Five Stars. A shame there is no 6 star option(!)
Love it! I do love this app. I love that the developers are so responsive to suggestions and criticisms. That should be a model for other developers. I love being able to listen back faster which is good when people talk really slowly. The brain can adjust to understanding quite fast speech. It is also good that you can add feeds yourself. I feel sorry for people stuck with stuff like iTunes. The previous version had a problem but the developers sorted it out quickly :) :)
Good for a free app! Player FM has a great selection of pod casts available for subscriptions. The Search algorithm has trouble with spelling mistakes though, so it can be hard to find what you are looking for. The interface looks nice and is easy to navigate. Increased speed during playback is a great feature. Unfortunately there is no way to use Player FM as an alarm clock so you can listen to pod casts when you wake up. Since this is what I really wanted I can't give it a full five stars.
Almost perfect Best podcast app out there and its free. I Just wish it had its own android wear player instead of depending on the android wear built in player. Also when switching between users on my nexus 6p I notice that a notification of the last played podcast gets displayed which is very inconvenient.
