Ratings and reviews

I love the app but when it makes you click through and decline the paid version everytime you go from one podcast to another it makes me wonder if there is a better app out there. I dont mind when it asks me a few times over the course of a day but every time you change sections or podcasts I think that is rather aggressive.

I've now experienced the random stopping of podcasts twice in the past week. They are not streaming /buffering, it just stops, and the play button on the widget does not respond. I have to open the app to get a file to play, and even then, they stop after 2 or 3 minutes of play. This is one of the few apps I pay for, so I hope a solution can be found. Review has been downgraded accordingly, but it'll go back up to its former 5-star status when a solution's been found.

Back in 2014 I gave this app a five-star rating. It did everything I needed from a podcast app, and it was easy and error-free. I've now changed my rating because the ads have become so obnoxious and onnerous. Not only are there are all over the screen now, which I accept as an alternative to paying for a subscription, but in the last month or so the app now opens ads in a browser on your phone - almost always as soon as you open the app, and then every few minutes while. I'm done!
