Hi, we’re Pod. One of the UK’s leading providers of EV charging. Welcome to our new and improved Pod Point app – the app that powers more than 5 million miles, every day.

The Pod Point app serves all your public, workplace or home charge needs – all in one place.

With the Pod Point app, you can:
- Top up your EV while shopping or at the office
- Track your charging activity and energy consumption, both at home and on our public charging network in the stats tab
- Manage your power at home through solar or the grid
- Take advantage of low tariff hours by setting schedules

Remember, you can still collect Clubcard points when charging with us. Simply connect your Tesco Clubcard in the app to collect 1 Tesco Clubcard point for every £1 spent on charging using a Pod Point charger at Tesco stores.

Alongside a brand-new look and feel, we’ve got some serious technical upgrades. We’ve heard your feedback and been working to improve the EV charging experience.

But we aren’t done yet! Keep your eyes open for updates that will make EV charging as easy as possible.

Ratings and reviews

Ok, so in a dark car park, read the name of the charger, read which port you're socketed into, and remember them while you find the way out - there's no phone signal. Then enter them into the app, which gives no feedback on whether it's working. Then , come back hours later to find you've done no charging. This app should not exist! I don't want your nonsense account, just swipe my damn card! I will avoid podpoint whenever possible.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THEIR NEW PODPOINT HONE APP. It will mean all control over your home charger is removed from this app. But you still need it for external chargers. You'll end up with 2 apps doing less than one used to. For example you no longer control time zones, and you can't switch it on for a set period of time. Poor especially when you use it for 2 vehicles. I called them they've never heard of it!! Said they would email and to reply with screenshots then hung up. They didn't email me. 😡

This charging app is a complete nightmare and the worst piece of junk I've ever been forced to use! Every single time I need to charge, there are continuous, endless problems that make it impossible to get anything done. I can't even log in half the time – it just spins forever or says my credentials are wrong even though they're correct. And when it finally lets me in? It randomly logs me out mid-session, kicking me back to the start while my car is sitting there doing nothing!
