About this app

Pointer is a simple idea: tell people where you are and what you're wearing, and let the ones nearby find you.

Post a place and an outfit. For the next 24 hours anyone close by can see it, send you a match request, and start a conversation once you accept. After 24 hours the post disappears on its own.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Share a spot — name the place you're at, describe what you're wearing, add a few tags. Add a photo if you want; Pointer can look at it and suggest the description for you.
2. Look around — see who else is posting nearby, or search by place name and tags.
3. Ask to match — send a request to someone you'd like to meet. They decide.
4. Chat — once you both agree, the conversation opens. Messages arrive live.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Nothing here is permanent. A post lives for a day and then it's gone, so the app is about right now — this cafe, this evening — instead of a profile you maintain forever.

You are found by where you are and what you look like today, not by an algorithm's guess about you.

YOUR CONTROL

- Choose which genders can see your posts, and which you want to see.
- Block anyone, at any time. They disappear from your side of the app immediately.
- Report a post or a person in two taps.
- Delete a photo, a post, or your whole account whenever you like — deletion is immediate and complete, and you can also do it from our website without the app installed.

PRIVACY

Your location is used when you post and when you search, and never in the background. Pointer has no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking across other apps or sites. We do not sell your data.

Pointer is for adults: you must be 18 or over to use it.
