Every look in rollCD is a CD you load into the deck — not a filter you scroll past.

Slide a disc in and the whole camera changes. What you see through the viewfinder is exactly what saves to your roll.

THE LOOK
Grain that sits in the shadows instead of being smeared over everything. Halation blooming around bright edges. Colour fringing at the corners of the frame. A red timestamp burned into the bottom.

Photos come out looking like they were taken in 2003 on a camera someone found in a drawer — soft, warm, a little bit wrong, and far more interesting than the clean version your phone wanted to hand you.

The app is built like the object it imitates: a black camera body with the viewfinder cut into it, a disc sitting in the deck, engraved markings and one red LED. No floating buttons, no gradients, no menu that looks like every other app on your phone.

THE PART PEOPLE KEEP COMING BACK FOR

The quality dial. Drag it from CLEAN to DESTROYED and the picture genuinely falls apart — the sensor grid coarsens, the colours crush down, and real compression artifacts appear in the file. It is not a grain texture laid over the top. At the far end your photo looks like it was saved, re-saved and emailed around for twenty years.

HOW TO USE IT
1. Tap the disc in the middle of the camera body. Swipe through the shelf and press LOAD — you will hear it go in.
2. Frame your shot. The viewfinder is already showing you what the disc does, so there is no surprise later.
3. Drag the quality dial in the finder if you want it rougher.
4. Press the shutter. The photo lands in your roll.
5. Tap EDITOR to cut it up, or tap any shot in the roll to save, share or edit it.

THE DISCS
• Low Quality — faded, soft, cheap film
• VHS — green cast and tracking softness
• Night Vis — hard black and white
• Expired — shifted dyes and a magenta cast
• Sunburn — hot, blown out, over-exposed

THE EDITOR
• Ransom-note captions cut from real magazine letters. Every letter has variants, so no two captions ever look the same
• Cut-out stickers you drag, pinch and rotate
• Exposure, contrast, warmth, grain and vignette
• Put a disc on a photo you already took, or one straight from your library

Every shot is kept in the roll, grouped by the day you took it. Select several at once to save, share or clear them out. Export in HD without a watermark.
