TIPS FOR FINDING HEARTBEAT
- Take your phone out of its case and turn the volume up.
- Make direct contact with the skin
- Feel for the baby's back and place the phone's mic against that spot; it's closest to their heart. You can monitor your own pulse to help differentiate between yours and your baby's.
- A silent room, long recording, and positioning close to heartbeat yield the best results.
- Bigger headphones may yield better results if you're having trouble. The loudest frequencies of the heart are very low, and small speakers and headphones may not be able to play them as well.
