Listening to conversations where the imagery is clear is very helpful. I had been learning French for three months before starting this app, and it is a perfect accompaniment to take me from infant to elementary level 😁. I can't wait until I am intermediate. The ads are absolutely ridiculous! The ads will interrupt mid sentence or right in the middle of you completing an assignment. And they are long ads, like 30 second ads that you have to sit through! I understand that ads are needed but this is beyond excessive and counter productive. There is literally an ad every 15 seconds (not exaggerating). This works otherwise be a good app

This could be a great app—it has fantastic material and great options. But I wanted to use the free version for some time, before I go premium. And the free version is just unbearable. The amount of ads is insane and they interrupt even the shortest lessons (they literally pop up every minute). IMO, this is shooting your own foot. Ads are OK, but one still needs a usable free version in order to appreciate the app. In the end, I got so frustrated I uninstalled, even tho I did like many features.
