Classicboy Pro simulates dozens of classic game consoles/handhelds, let you play tens of thousands of retro video games on your Android devices.

Beside the traditional touchscreen and gamepad input, you can remap the buttons to gestures and accelerometer to make your gaming more funny.

The professional version comes with ROMs scanner and games database so that you can easily find, identify, and sort your games library.

I must say the update to Pro was a very big improvement over the previous versions of Classic Boy. First off the updates to some cores were huge, they added a lot more options etc., and made some cores run really well, when before they ran pretty badly, (especially the GBA emulator that ran GBA games very poorly with horrible sound, performance, and even when you pressed the "A" button it would register that you also pressed the "B" button. But now literally all of those hick ups are gone!).

First game I loaded, ran in turbo mode. Checked the speed in the setting. It was 1x. Then it crashed. Black screen every other time I loaded up, then crash after 30 seconds. -edit 18/08/2024 Tried out the lite and pro versions. Despite the interface difference, can't tell what else there is. My previous complaint is fixed. But both the lite and pro versions will not allow loading. 0 stars

Pretty good app. There are some problems. I try using a ps5 controller for n64 games, but the mapping won't allow me to completely map the analog stick or the c buttons. It unmaps as soon as i try mapping the next direction. Sega saturn games won't run with either core. I tried loading sakura wars and sonic R, but i was taken to a screen that said no game detected. Some times this app will glitch and the onscreen buttons won't respond when pressed or respond the wrong way. Overall good app.
