I don't know what happened but ever since the app was updated with a new UI, I have had nothing but problems. When I try to scan the QR code, the app either requests for permission to use the camera even though I've already allowed it in the past, the app closes and restarts, or it causes my phone to crash and have to reboot. After about 3 or 4 tries and a few reboots it finally works. As others have commented, the payment system is annoying but at least it doesn't cause my phone to crash.

The new UI is a huge step back. When I go to a place to charge, I often don't have a set amount I want to charge, and I rarely want to charge until full. I usually have an idea of the time range. Please allow me to state that. Sure, if the app could tell me what my charge might be at the end that would be great. Currently I have to go back and forth until the app is happy with the values I have entered. I'm not sure who benefits from that, but it isn't the drivers.

"What's new" claims "Fixed forgot password flow." That is not my experience. I try to login, the app sends a verification code to my email so the password can be updated. I do that and the same thing happens again. After three tries, I realized that I had to back out of that screen and then the app appeared to be happy. We shall see it when I try charging at the airport tonight.
