Nice- except folders Nice, easy to customize for an average or slightly above average user. The only thing that I really don't like is the app folders. It seems like folder options somehow got the short stick in development. When opening a folder you get a very small window to view the apps so you have to do a lot of scrolling, which you could customize app window size and shape. Think it improved my battery life compared to Nova Prime.
I really enjoy this launcher, however, the auto-rotate, basically doesn't work at all...the screen only rotates when using an app that rotates the screen (ie a games, youtube videos) and then stay in the orientation of the app... so if the home screen was in portrait sometime even apps arent able to rotate to landscape, and if i do get an app to landscape then when I return to home its stuck in landscape...this is a huge issue for me...may lead to uninstall
Running a no name China tablet. Tried a dozen launchers with different problems and speed issues. on each. Loaded Lucid and it works quite well allowing me to customize and not slow the speed. Great Job
Love it tooo! Wanted a light launcher and it too be pretty customizable. This is the best of both worlds. The only thing I'd day is that it would be nice to be able to do horizontal screens, unless I'm missing something.
This launcher is faster than Nova Pro & very customizable. If you love Nova (Pro) or Zeam, you'll love Lucid Launcher Pro. Try the free version out. It's the most affordable Pro Launcher out there at $2. The first thing to get past is it conforms to Android Application Designs regarding menus & swipe actions. That means *no persistent icon bar*. There's a slideout Favorites available, but if you use just 2 or 3 screens, it's far easier to put the Phone icon on every screen - it would have been there anyway but on bar. Take a personal challenge. Use the free version, give it a week. If you have multiple devices, put it on all them. You need complete immersion to try it out as the "schism" is too great between launchers. The confusion will make you abandon the challenge. You are effectively breaking a bad habit. Then after the week (or better two) challenge, try out your old launcher. It will feel slow, bloated & awkward. You'll then realize, you'll need to go Pro for $2. Oh, BTW, for folks who are still using Nova Pro - your launcher is still constantly pinging the Internet for stuff. Install NoRoot Firewall by Grey Shirts. You'll see.
Finally! This is the best launcher for tablets. I can finally get a lot of tiny icons on the huge screen. Lots of options and easy to setup. Thank you! Only issues I have with it are 1) the limited desktop folder style options, 2) apps in app tray folder dont have 'copy to home' option, 3) cant drag and drop from app tray to home screens, and 4) the red bar at the top while moving objects always eats my widgets when im moving them. Still, I really love this launcher. Keep up the great work.
