PrePass Mobile App provides customizable alerts for parking, safety, traffic, and weather. The mobile app is designed to help keep all fleets compliant, safe, and moving efficiently.

The PrePass Mobile App provides coverage for mobile weigh-station sites, and when used with a transponder, provides greater bypass reliability and integration with NORPASS and Oregon Green Light weigh station locations. The transponder also provides the option of adding toll payment services through PrePass Plus.

Available at no extra cost for PrePass customers, the mobile app:
• Integrates with major Telematics Service Providers (TSPs) to streamline driver workflows.
• Increases operational transparency via GPS Toll Verification, which allows fleets to track toll charges directly.
• Features customizable alerts for traffic accidents, construction zones, weather hazards, and safety concerns like steep grades or brake-check areas.
• Gives drivers access to parking availability across major freight corridors in IN, IA, KS, KY, MI, MN, OH, and WI.

The PrePass Mobile App functions automatically as vehicles approach a weigh station. Approximately two miles from a station, the mobile app notifies the driver whether they are cleared to bypass or must pull in. Pre-approved vehicles are electronically identified and weighed at highway speeds, receiving either a “bypass” or “pull in” alert. For those required to stop, detailed inspection data is made available through the INFORM™ Safety data platform, ensuring that compliance management remains data-driven and organized.

PrePass is an endorsed featured product of the American Trucking Associations (ATA) and is also endorsed by the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA), Truckers Service Association (TSA), National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC) and state trucking associations across the country.

Ratings and reviews

For our ELD we use Samsara. They have an integration. But every time I try and have a user login I'm stuck on help desk support. Prepass doesn't know how to support the app and they leave you on hold endlessly while they contact the app maker. It works ok when it works, but it is very frail.
