About this app

Prism is a private, end-to-end encrypted organizer built for plural systems — people who share a body with multiple identities. Whether that takes the form of DID, OSDD, or any other kind of plurality, Prism gives your system the tools it needs to stay organized, stay connected, and stay in control of its own data.

Everything you put into Prism lives on your device. If you choose to enable sync, your data is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your phone, moves through a zero-knowledge relay that cannot read it, and arrives at your other devices intact. No accounts. No passwords. No profile to sign up for. You are the only one with the keys.

— WHAT YOU CAN DO —

• Members. Keep profiles for everyone in your system — names, pronouns, roles, colors, emoji, avatars, and custom fields that fit the way your system actually works.

• Fronting. Track who is fronting, who is co-fronting, when switches happened, and leave notes and comments for later. Build a picture of your system's patterns on your own terms.

• Groups. Organize members into subsystems, clusters, or any grouping that makes sense to you.

• Chat. Hold internal conversations between members, with reactions, replies, images, voice messages, and optional GIFs.

• Notes. Capture journal entries, thoughts, reminders, and anything else worth writing down, tagged to a member or to the system as a whole.

• Habits. Build routines and track completions, with per-member assignments and streaks.

• Sleep logs. Record when you slept, how well, and any notes — for systems where sleep patterns matter.

• Polls. Make decisions together, with anonymous or named voting, single- or multi-choice, and expirations when you need them.

— PRIVATE BY DEFAULT —

• End-to-end encrypted sync. Your content is encrypted on your device with keys only you hold. Our relay server cannot read it.

• Zero-knowledge relay. The official relay at relay.prismplural.com stores only ciphertext and limited routing metadata. It cannot see your members, messages, or notes.

• No accounts, no identity. Prism does not require an email address, phone number, or username. There is no login server and no profile.

• No ads, no trackers, no analytics. Prism contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, and no behavioral tracking. The app does not report back on what you do.

• Optional everything. Sync is optional. GIF search is optional. Every feature you do not want is a feature you can leave off.

• Self-hostable. If you want your own relay, you can run one. The relay source is public.

— OPEN SOURCE —

The Prism app, the sync engine, and the relay server are all publicly available on GitHub. The privacy and security claims in our privacy policy can be verified against the code.

— A NOTE ON SCOPE —

Prism is a personal organizer, not a medical or counseling service. It does not diagnose, treat, or offer clinical advice. It is designed as a tool your system can use day to day, in whatever way helps — and nothing more.

What’s new

Encrypted bio images are here: insert local or imported images into member bios and long-text fields, manage them from a tagged media library, and sync them safely across devices. Simply Plural imports can bring bio images with them. Markdown gets table insertion, spoilers everywhere, safer links, and better blank-line preservation. Plus member creation dates, group-management polish, fronting repair, onboarding fixes, and sync recovery hardening.
