This application is intended to facilitate the general public approach to the geological heritage of the regions of Four Valleys.
This has been selected 28 Points of Geological Interest (PIGs), which are not far from all the attractions of the area. Your choice responds to its relevance, its accessibility and its ability to withstand visits without jeopardizing its conservation. These enclaves where you can see quite easily various issues related to geological, palaeontological and mining heritage of Four Valleys.
The 28 PIGs are presented distributed in the 7 counties that make up the territory. They have installed many other signs in the field, which has included a QR code through which you directly to a specific PIG.
At each point we have tried to provide simple information through text, photographs, diagrams and illustrations to facilitate understanding of the phenomena that can be seen in the field. To support the observation of the valuable information imprinted on the rocks on the origin and evolution of these valleys and mountains, the changes in them and the beings that inhabited for millions of years.
To access the first time the application is recommended to have a good internet connection to facilitate downloading.
