About this app

Need to change a file while you are away from your computer? LuPad++ lets you open a local file, make a quick edit and save it from your Android phone.

Open plain text, code, Markdown and HTML files with Android's file picker. Edit with syntax highlighting, line numbers and tabs. Preview Markdown or HTML as you work, then save your changes to your device.

Use LuPad++ to:
• Update a configuration file or code snippet
• Review and edit Markdown notes or documentation
• Change an HTML page and check the preview
• Find and replace text in a longer file

Tools for editing on a phone:
• Search and replace with previous and next result navigation
• Multiple files in tabs
• Adjustable text size and dark mode

No account is needed to edit local files. LuPad++ contains ads, with an optional one-time purchase to remove them.

What’s new

Fixed an issue where tapping a file in Recent Files could appear to do nothing.
Improved reopening of Android documents when temporary files are no longer available.
If file access is unavailable, the app now shows an error and lets you select the file again without removing its history entry.
