About
Dicey Bugs is a roguelite dice‑building creature collector where you control both sides of the fight by choosing one action at a time. Capture bugs, unlock new dice, and customize every run.

Control Both Sides
Control both sides of the fight by choosing the order in which actions happen. Each die shows an action, and the battle only moves forward when you decide which ones to play.

Capture and Recruit
Weaken and capture any bug instead of defeating it, then choose at the end of the battle to swap it into your party or send it home to your collection for future runs. Yes, even elites and bosses can be captured.

Customize Each Run
Build your party from any bugs you have captured and customize your support die with the faces you have unlocked before starting each run.

Create Powerful Synergies
Create powerful synergies by choosing bugs whose abilities stack or complement each other. Their position in battle and the order in which the dice are played determine how their effects chain together into unique and sometimes broken combos.

Collect Loot & Upgrades
Visit the shop at any time to reroll or restock it with upgrades that support your build. Battles end with rewards that give either a permanent stat boost or more bottles to catch new bugs. Bosses drop new die faces that unlock new ways to customize your support die in future runs.

Ratings and reviews

It is so fun to control the entire battle. Like a little puzzle you solve each turn to maximize the damage you will inflict while reducing the damage you will take all the while opening up the opportunity to capture the bugs that will help you create some very fun and broken builds! Plus, I love collecting dice and being able to change my party and starter dice at the start of each run.

Amazing strategy game. I usual just play to play, but I had so much fun I wanted to score all the achievements in this game. Every bug is useful, though you'll find favourites and preferred bottle caps to buff them. Highly recommend as someone who's played Balatro, Rogue Adventure, Slay the Spire, and others.

It feels like I'm playing a promising demo of a game, but this is actually the full thing. After you've made a couple of runs, you've seen everything the game has to offer. There's about an hour and a half of game here. It's certainly not worth $5, and I would very much like my money back.

What’s new

FIXES & UPDATES:

• The Lure action now correctly applies to the opponent team instead of your own.
• Restock buttons in the shop now always replace all 3 items, and their cost is now affected by the Shopper Badge.
• Added a new option to toggle between 30 FPS and 60 FPS in the settings.
