About this app

ModeWise is a free guitar fretboard learning and practice app.

No sign-in is required for this release. The app does not require a test account.

The main app experience is landscape-oriented because the core feature is a wide 24-fret guitar fretboard. After launch, users can select a key and mode, view notes across the fretboard, switch between note names and scale degrees, focus on specific fret areas, and use playback controls to hear the selected notes.

Suggested review flow:

1. Launch the app.
2. Allow the app to enter the main visualiser screen.
3. Select different keys and modes using the toolbar controls.
4. Try Major Pentatonic or Minor Pentatonic to see the position and blue note options.
5. Use the fret focus area and press Play to hear the selected notes.
6. Use Stop to end playback.

There are no paid features, subscriptions, user accounts, external services, or restricted areas in this initial release.
