Push & Pull: Animal Tactics is a deep tactical game where two armies of animals clash, led by you and your opponent. No luck — only strategy, calculation, and cunning. Every move can shift the balance of power: you will push, pull, freeze, and lure enemy pieces into deadly traps, paving the way for your rabbit across the board.

Basic Rules
Objective: Win in one of three ways:
Get your rabbit to the opposite edge of the board.
Eliminate all opponent rabbits.
Leave the opponent with no legal moves (all pieces frozen or blocked).
Board: An 8×8 grid. In the center are four traps — cells that are deadly to any piece left without support.

Pieces and strength:
Each player has: 1 elephant, 1 camel, 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 8 rabbits.
Piece strength (from strongest to weakest): elephant > camel > horse > dog > cat > rabbit.
Setup: Before the game starts, players take turns placing all pieces on the two rows closest to them (gold player on rows 0–1, silver player on rows 6–7).
Turns: Players alternate, starting with gold. A turn consists of 1–4 steps. In one step, a piece moves to an adjacent empty square horizontally or vertically. Rabbits cannot move backward (for gold, backward means increasing row number; for silver, decreasing).
Push and pull: A stronger piece can push or pull a weaker enemy piece if it is on an adjacent square.
Push (2 steps): first the weaker enemy piece is moved to an adjacent empty square, then your piece takes its place.
Pull (2 steps): first your piece moves to an adjacent empty square, then the enemy piece moves into the vacated spot.
Freezing: If a piece is adjacent to a stronger enemy piece and has no friendly piece adjacent, it is frozen and cannot move (but can still be moved by the opponent).
Traps: Any piece on a trap cell with no friendly piece adjacent is immediately removed from the board.

Winning and losing:
If you bring your rabbit to the opponent's last row, you win.
If you eliminate all opponent rabbits, you win.
If the opponent has no legal moves, you win.
If you push or pull an opponent's rabbit onto its last row and it remains there at the end of your turn, you lose.

Repeating the same position a third time is forbidden — such a move is illegal.
