Protern.io records up to 5,000 data points per run, versus 2-3 with an optical timing system. Customers include world cup teams and athletes for Switzerland, Sweden, Canada, Austria, Germany, US, as well as club/regional teams across North America and Europe.
All skiers need to do is turn on their Protern.io Sensor, a high-accuracy high-speed GPS, and go. Coaches and athletes can get time and speed information (0.04s time and 0.14km/h speed precision) for anywhere on the course at any time.
Use the Protern.io Sync app to upload the sensor data to the cloud for detailed analysis immediately after a run. Twenty plus sensors can be synced to one phone.
Protern.io lets you compare runs between a single or multiple athletes. With detailed time and speed data for every metre skied, skiers can see exactly where they are loosing time and speed immediately after their run.
