Used to be a great app when it went by Playtube. Now it forces you to watch ads and you can't even use the app with a adblocker. Ads are disruptive to the point I'd rather use normal YouTube. Either make your app what it claims to be, or expect more negative reviews or people jumping to other apps instead. Also I want to mention that this app constantly changes names and stops working, obligating you to look through the play store for the new version. 5 stars a year ago. 1 star now.

Immediately hit with a popup ad, a notification request and another video ad and I can't figure out how to link my account. trash.

this app is actually Newpipe, you just put ads on it. i put ad blocker dns in my phone and this app commands me to turn it off. there is something wrong with Newpipe this days with content available error and this app also experience that so basically this app is Newpipe app but to gain something because Newpipe is free you put ads on this app! nice 😉😄
