ABOUT THE VPN CONNECTION
ProtypeHub includes an optional, built-in VPN tunnel used for one purpose only: to create a secure, encrypted connection between your phone and your own Protype 3D printer when you are away from your local network (for example, when the printer is behind CGNAT or a home router).

- It is NOT a general-purpose or privacy VPN.
- It does NOT route, monitor, or manipulate traffic from other apps.
- It connects only to your own Protype printer hardware — it cannot be used to browse the internet or reach third-party services.
- All traffic is end-to-end encrypted; no data is sent to third parties.
