Great, no nonsense, simple, clean and slick interface, progresses your workouts automatically so no need to calculate and make sure you're progressively overloading. Tracks and logs your workouts too. What more could you ask for? I honestly can't think of anything else I'd add here. This is a 5x5 workout app. It's a specialized lifting and muscle building routine, so maybe in the future they can add more different workouts with the same slick interface?

Nice app overall, some small additions would make it much better. It asks me to progress by 2.5 kg per week (even though I've added 0.625 'smallest plates') on bench/row, which is too much for me. I can't find a way to adjust that. I would also like to be able to: - add simple 'notes' to workouts - show warm-up sets - add custom (assistance) exercises and change their order - add notification 'beeps' to the rest timer - round up sets that are not max effort (e.g. not 62.5 as a first set but 60)

Thanks for quality feedback! I will pick these on my todo list.
First one is a bug as increment should automatically be adjusted by the smallest plates, I need to check why that's not happening here.

I've been using the Madcow 5x5 app for a while now, and honestly, it's the best strength training app out there. What I love most is how simple and straightforward it is.no flashy features or distractions, just exactly what you need to follow the Madcow program. The app automatically adjusts the weights based on your progress, so you don't have to worry about any calculations. It tracks everything for you and keeps you focused on your lifts. 😀
