About this app

TAMS Patrol is the mobile companion app for TAMS/JAMS facility management customers. It is designed for security guards who complete scheduled patrol routes and document their activity at checkpoints throughout a facility.

How It Works

Log in, select a route, and complete each checkpoint in order. GPS coordinates are captured at every checkpoint to verify the guard’s location.

Checkpoints that require photo evidence cannot be completed until a photo is attached.

Once the patrol is uploaded, the TAMS/JAMS web platform evaluates each checkpoint against its assigned time window and identifies whether it was completed on time or missed. Patrol activity, adherence, and exceptions are then available through the Patrol monitor and reporting tools.

• Optional photo evidence requirements for individual checkpoints

• Routes can be scheduled daily or on specific weekdays, with a Today filter that displays only the routes currently due

• Patrol activity is saved locally and uploaded when ready, allowing patrols to continue even when network connectivity is limited

• Routes and checkpoints synchronize automatically whenever the app is opened, so users do not need to reactivate the site when schedules or checkpoints change

• Multi-site support for guards working across multiple facilities

• A built-in SOS button for reporting an on-site emergency

Requirements

TAMS Patrol requires an active TAMS/JAMS account and site activation from your facility administrator.

TAMS Patrol is not a standalone application. It serves as the mobile field data collection tool for your organization’s existing TAMS/JAMS deployment.
