PulseFlow uses your phone's rear camera to measure your heart rate — no smartwatch, chest strap, or external sensor required.

HOW IT WORKS
Just place your fingertip gently over the rear camera lens and hold still for 40 seconds. PulseFlow captures light changes in your finger using remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) — the same optical principle used in hospital pulse oximeters. It extracts the subtle pulse signal from the green and red channels of the camera feed, applies a fast Fourier transform (FFT), and identifies your dominant heart frequency in the 42–180 BPM range.
