Purity Realm

About this app

Purity Quest is a private, on-device companion for quitting pornography — built for people who want real accountability, not just another habit tracker.

REAL BLOCKING, NOT JUST WILLPOWER
• A genuine on-device DNS blocker filters known adult sites across every browser and app on your phone — not an honor system.
• Its blocklist auto-updates from maintained public sources and covers close to a million adult domains.
• Optionally block any apps you choose during a Focus session (Instagram, TikTok…) using Android's Accessibility service.
• Lockdown mode, for when you don't trust your future self: once on, the blocker can't be turned off from inside the app.
• Add your own sites to block — your list is never shared.

BUILT FOR ACCOUNTABILITY
• Track your clean streak, earn XP and level up.
• Log slips honestly — your score takes a hit, but honesty is how you grow.
• Grace days protect your streak from an honest slip-up.
• Badges for real milestones.

FAITH-BASED SUPPORT
• Choose your faith (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism or Buddhism) for daily verses and reflections.
• Read your faith's scripture: the Bible (King James Version), Quran, Tanakh, Bhagavad Gita or Dhammapada.
• Swipe through endless quotes, like and share them, and save them to playlists with a daily reminder to read them.
• Schedule quote reminders through your day, and get a real-time quote whenever a site is blocked.

FOR THE HARD MOMENTS
• Guided breathing and an urge timer — most urges pass within 10 minutes.
• Write "if-then" plans ahead of time ("if I feel bored at night, then I'll go for a walk").
• Letters to your future self, delivered when you need them.
• Panic Mode: once your blocker is set up, one tap turns it on and starts a focus session.

UNDERSTAND YOUR PATTERNS
• A risk heatmap shows when temptation tends to hit you.
• Recovery Wrapped: a shareable summary of your progress.

DISGUISE THE APP (OPTIONAL)
In Settings, change the app's name and icon on your home screen to Notes, Calculator, Weather or Clock. It's your choice, it only changes how the icon looks, and you can switch back any time.

100% PRIVATE, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
• Your journal, streak, slips, letters, liked quotes and playlists stay on your device. No account, no server, no way for us to see any of it.
• The app only downloads the public blocklists — nothing about you is sent.
• No analytics, no ads, no trackers. Free forever, no purchases.

Purity Quest gives you real tools to actually stay clean. Start today.

HOW PURITY QUEST USES VPNSERVICE
VpnService powers only the optional website blocker. When you turn it on, the app creates a local, on-device VPN that looks at DNS lookups (the request your phone makes to turn a website name into an address) and blocks known adult websites. Nothing else goes through the VPN.
• Filtering happens on your device. Lookups for sites that aren't blocked go to Google Public DNS, the same step your phone performs without the blocker.
• We don't log, store or share the sites you visit or any blocklist matches.
• It is not a general-purpose VPN: your traffic isn't routed through any remote server and your IP address doesn't change.
• It only runs when you turn it on. Lockdown mode is optional; you can always remove the VPN in Android's VPN settings or uninstall the app.
• Android shows its standard VPN prompt and a key icon while it's active.

HOW PURITY QUEST USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Optional, and used only to block apps during a Focus session. It checks which app is in front (its name) so it can send you home if it's one you chose to avoid. It never reads your screen, and nothing is logged, stored or sent. You turn it on in Android's Accessibility settings and can turn it off any time.

NOTE
Purity Quest is a self-help tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you are struggling, please consult a healthcare professional.
