EDIT- 3/5/2026. Arcadia Support was prompt and thorough when trying to help me resolve my issues with the light not turning on (see below). Updated to 5*. This light was working perfectly with my phone (Pixel 6) for over a year! When I changed the lightbulb it stopped turning on automatically. I'd have to flip the switch off, count to 10, and turn it on. Then it would work and do the rest of my algorithm perfectly (even turning off/to 0% light). PS-You CAN use this light without the app.

I like the app, when it connects... It has a steep learning curve, but it is super simple afterwards. But when you have more devices, it struggles to connect. Sometimes it just stops responding for multiple seconds. This gets super frustrating really quickly, so I'm avoiding buying more of the devices. They really should work on fixing the async. bluetooth communication and optimize multi-device scenarios. I'm giving this bad review in the hopes that it is seen by the devs.

Junk. I have a Fluval Plant LED light for my aquarium. I can change the spectra how I want for different light temperatures, and more. You can't do this with the Arcadia app. The light also starts turning on before the time I set it to come up. It's basic at best and doesn't feel worth the money spent at all.
