I needed a QR scanner to set up an information page on a new dog tracker tag. I didn't realize I needed to download one. There was always one just "there" on my old phones. Anyhow, while this app did complete the task I needed to be done. It also completely changed my entire home screens & so far I haven't found anything, but I hope it also didn't change anything else too! It was really frustrating, I couldn't find anything.

*** Couldn't close app after sharing barcode scan result***. Had to open Android settings for apps to get to Play Store to uninstall Barcode Scanner to regain control of my Galaxy S22. Edit: The app failed in a mode that did not allow me to close it. Flicking It's card up did not work. Also, it reappeared and needed to be uninstalled again. I'll try your advice if it reappears.

When I installed the app, the scan function is too fast and would only get a blurry image of a barcode. Then I realized it changed the entire setup of my phone. Went to delete it from my phone and it wouldn't allow it. Had to go back to the app store to get it Uninstalled. Fortunately, once I deleted it, the setup I had previously was restored. So that tells me this app is more invasive than necessary.
