About this app

Vivid — Video catalog & player for Android phones, tablets, and TV

Organize videos on your device, NAS, or PC (SMB) in Library and play with a tap. Includes Continue watching, bookmarks, playlists, and history. With Pro, you can also use Jellyfin / Emby, ISO, 4K, casting, and offline downloads.
A Google account sign-in is required (used to sync your trial period and purchase status).

■ Great if you want to
・Organize videos by folder on phone, tablet, and TV
・Stream videos from a PC or NAS (Synology, QNAP, UGREEN, and more) over SMB
・Save frequently watched videos to bookmarks or playlists
・Use a home server (Jellyfin / Emby) and ISO (DVD / Blu-ray images) in one app
・Lock folders with PIN / biometrics and hide them with Safety Mode

■ Local videos (on device)
After granting storage access, you can browse and play videos in registered folders. Previous/next within the same folder and auto-queue are available in the free version (with ads).
※ On Android TV / Google TV, registering new local folders is not supported (register over the network, e.g. SMB).

■ Network videos (SMB)
Connect via SMB to shared folders on a PC or NAS on the same Wi-Fi to browse and play. Designed so large videos can stream without copying them to your device (experience depends on network, hardware, and file format).

■ 4K & high-bitrate playback (Pro)
Supports a playback mode for 4K and high bitrates. Large SMB content can also play more comfortably (depends on device performance and network).

■ Main screen features
Library … Open registered local / SMB / Jellyfin·Emby folders, list videos, and play. Resume from Continue watching at the top.
Bookmarks … Keep frequently used items ready to open quickly.
Playlists … Play videos in sequence. Free: 1 playlist; Pro: unlimited. Previous/next in a folder is available on free (with ads).
History … Shows recently opened items so you can pick up easily.
More … Registered folders, sync (Google Drive), purchases, settings, and more.

■ Safety Mode & folder lock
Lock folders with a PIN or biometrics (fingerprint / face). With Safety Mode on, locked folders are hidden from lists while locked, and the History tab is hidden too.

■ Main Pro features (one-time purchase)
・Jellyfin / Emby integration
・ISO playback (unencrypted DVD / Blu-ray disc images)
・4K playback
・Cast to Chromecast / Google TV (video cast to Fire TV is not currently supported)
・Unlimited playlists
・Seamless continuous playback (auto-advance when a video ends)
・Take offline
・Ad-free
・Google Drive auto-sync

■ About video formats
Playable formats depend on the combination supported by the device OS and playback engine. Typically includes MP4 / MKV / MOV / WebM and H.264 / H.265 (HEVC) / VP9 / AV1 (device-dependent). Supported ISOs are unencrypted DVD / Blu-ray images. Some files may not play, or may play audio-only / video-only.

■ Pricing
For 7 days from first launch, you can try Pro features too (ads still show during the trial). After the trial, local / SMB playback and previous/next in a folder remain available in the free version (with ads; 1 playlist).
To keep using Pro, buy the one-time plan in the app (price shown on Google Play; in Japan, ¥1,500 including tax). No monthly plan. Feature breakdown follows Google Play Store and in-app displays.
Browse & play NAS/local videos in 4K. SMB, playlists & biometric lock included.
