QuestLock — Screen Time Quests

About this app

QuestLock turns screen time into motivation: instead of endless scrolling, your child earns
device time by solving short educational quests — logic, math, language, internet safety and
beginner "cyber-detective" puzzles.

**How it works**
1. Install QuestLock on your child's phone or tablet and set a parent PIN.
2. Choose which apps your child may use and when (bedtime, school hours).
3. Your child solves quests → earns minutes → spends them in the apps you allowed.

**For parents**
• You choose the allowed apps, daily quest limits and schedules.
• Bedtime and school-time windows lock the device automatically.
• A PIN (with a recovery security question) protects all settings.
• Emergency calls are always available — the dialer and SMS are never blocked.
• "Remove protection" hands the device back at any time.

**For kids**
• Short, friendly quests that adapt to age and skill.
• XP, streaks, badges and cheerful lock-screen themes (space, forest, synthwave).
• A built-in AI study helper — text-only, filtered, and parents can switch it off anytime.

**Privacy first**
QuestLock is built for children's privacy: quests are scored on the device, there are no ads
and no third-party analytics. The AI helper is text-only, never sees voice, photos or

QuestLock uses Android's Accessibility service solely to detect which app is in the
foreground so it can enforce the screen-time rules you set. It does not read screen content.
