Great job! My mom loves it. She can see whatever I am doing, whenever she wants to. So if you dont care about the privacy of your kids, or worry that they might have trouble making new friends and wrap themselves up in a little box of solitude, by all means! Download this app!(by the way, im going to use up all my time just writing this review :)
Tested out the app. I waited and waited and test browsing activity (normal and incognito) was never reported into the dashboard. How are you supposed to monitor browsing activity (look there I saw chrome was used but no activity!) when there is none reported? What? FAQ says to reinstall and reconfigure? Screw that, it should work the first time all the time and re-installing is a cop out when you can't actually figure out how to program or configure it correctly every time.
Works well to limit when and how much time a device can be used. Has reduced arguments in our house :) However the browsing protection is painful to use. It constantly stops a device browsing to completely legitimate sites like kids learning sites. Extremely frustrating when my children cannot participate in class work because this software has blocked them. Queried the help desk and they admitted it's not perfect. Won't be renewing this software.
Update: Version 18.104.22.168-family no longer reports web sites visited with Android 6. Consequently web site blocking doesn't work. Downgraded from 4 to 2 because with version 6 of Android, the app crashes and loses its credentials, after which it no longer runs or protects. You have to re-enter the account information and re associate the phone with a profile. Unless the user of the phone tells you the crash has occurred, you have no idea. The user can also turn off the Qustodio accessibility switch, which renders the app inoperative. In short, the Android app with Android 6 has regressed from a great tool to a pretty demo.
Blocks stupid things My kids keep coming up to me asking why they can't watch cake tutorials and I couldn't help them.
This is an invasion of privacy What parent that actually trusts their child feels the need to track their every move, text message, and phone call? This shows how overprotective parents can be and how little they think they can trust children. This app basically copies the activities of the NSA, and I can only handle one group of people tracking my personal texts and phone calls.
