About this app

Your biology is beautiful.

Your period: A natural non-invasive blood test

Stay on top of your health using the first and only FDA-cleared diagnostic menstrual pad that tests for critical health information.

Test your hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) using the Q-Pad™ as a convenient, no needle alternative to traditional lab blood testing using period blood.
- Nearly 80% of people with prediabetes are unaware, as there are no symptoms
- Even for non-diabetics, elevated blood sugar is proven to negatively impact fertility, change moods, affect energy levels, and impact skin.
- For diabetics, measure how well you have been maintaining your blood sugar levels for the past 90 days. Also knowing your A1c before your next doctor check in can alleviate the stress of not knowing.

Overview of Qvin™

We started exploring the uses of menstrual blood with a team at Stanford University Hospital in 2014. We discovered nothing short of incredible: Period blood is not waste, it's a unique opportunity to monitor your health as it contains a wide array of health markers.

In other words: Your body performs a natural blood test every month that doesn't require needles or doctor's appointments. Amazing, isn't it?

The Q-Pad: Engineered to collect and analyze period blood

We've built a unique menstrual pad that captures and preserves period blood for medical analysis. It looks and feels like any regular menstrual pad, but inside you will find a paper-based strip embedded. After using the Q-Pad, you remove the Q-Strip, place it in a secure storage container, and mail it to our laboratory for analysis.

Start using the Q-Pad

Use the app to link your Q-Pad to your secure profile. We will send you blood test results and provide you with personalized health insights. If there is something out of the ordinary, you will be the first to know, and as we will always suggest actionable next steps or if necessary, offer follow-up testing. A certified Doctor reviews all test results and will contact you if there are any urgent results.

Not a diagnostic test

Qvin offers access to laboratory testing for wellness monitoring, informational and educational use. The tests we offer are not intended to diagnose or treat disease. None of our tests are intended to be a substitute for seeking professional medical advice, help, diagnosis, or treatment.

HEALTH APP INTEGRATION:

Easy, but, capturing pictures sucks, took one saw it, then go back it is gone. Not helpful when photos are required at a specific step. To find out not there.
