Doesn't work GPS tracking doesn't work. Apparently relies on the runner's phone being on and within GPS tracking range.
I liked it It worked well for the most part. It was nice to hear cheers as I ran my race. One complaint that I have is that it quit on me in the middle of my race. I was able to get it back up & working while I was running but it did miss one mile marker. My parents enjoyed knowing where I was so they would know when I would cross the finish line.
Incredibly annoying notifications on by default DEVELOPER: Most users aren't at the race. They're asleep, at work, at church, or other places where they'd like to be discrete // I downloaded so I could track friends running a marathon. Suddenly, I'm awakened by an obnoxious cowbell notification and then another and another as my friends get off to their early starts. I disable audio notifications, once I figure out how, but somehow it turns itself back on. I guess you need to register for an account in order for setting changes to be permanent. Great.
Good but lacking in a few area This app was nice for allowing others to track my progress in the Madison Half. However, I wish that it would audibly give split times at each mile. Also, I didn't receive the cheers my fam sent, although this is probably due to me not installing the other necessary app to hear them. (I didn't want to install yet another app, so I neglected to follow the instructions for hearing cheers.)
Buggy, does not follow Android menu standards. Requires lots of personal info (if you have the bib number, you shouldn't need to provide this), voice control pop up blocks access to the app making it completely unusable.
Tracking seemed to work well. I liked being able to see my mile splits during the race.
