Ratings and reviews

App costs $5, but still runs ads and wants you to pay more money——for more features and presumably to not have the ads. The 'more money' is a subscription, which is a deal breaker for me, and it seems disingenuous to charge $5 without mentioning that it would still have adds and not have all the features. All I want is an app that sends an alert whenever rain appears in the long range forecast. I couldn't find any alert settings in this app. Perhaps they're in the subscription version.

This is an exceptional app for weather enthusiasts and meteorologists. The customizations are superb, and you can select different modes, including "Expert". Want it to be a little easier? Simply select "Standard" mode. Aviation is also great. I recommend you spend some time looking through all the different variables, because you can customize to your needs. As a meteorologist myself, I find this app amazing. 5 stars.

This app would be great if it had any kind of notifications for when you were not already in the app. Another good addition would be to have a widget so you could always see a summary of your conditions looking at the widget. Tapping either the notification or the widget would open the app so you could view the details if you needed them. Now, the app icon just sits there.
