They updated the app and completely broke it. I liked the new UI, but it's useless without accurate data. Before the update, it was shockingly accurate! Now it's shockingly bad. It's not just inaccurate - it loses data! We had a big storm last night. Mid-evening, it said 0.91", and it rained much more after that. Today, it says 0.42" - even going back 72 hours. Not the first time since that update that it's done that, and it's consistently been wrong on all rain data.

I'm guessing it's accurate, not certain. It traps almost everything behind money. It's ok if you want to replace a physical water gauge with a digital one, but it's not like it'll do more than a physical one. So, you might be better off using a physical gauge for guaranteed accuracy and keeping track of it yourself. I also had to wander around the map quite a bit because it recognized the city name but not the street name. Their map images are also about 5 years old.

UPDATE: I thought they removed the free version, but I just updated the app before removing it, and it's back. It's less user-friendly, the graphs/calendar are behind a paywall now, you only get 2 locations and one is your location which you can't rename, some functions taken away for the free version. I'm not a farmer and don't need more than 2 locations to track. Otherwise, it's an interesting app for figuring out backyard watering needs and to stay up on average rainfall.
