A map that only does ramen.
RamenOtaku is a ramen-only shop finder. There is no rating out of five, no score, and no way to leave a bad review. The only thing you can do is cheer for a bowl you liked.
■ Know how to order before you walk in
Ramen shops in Japan have a rhythm of their own. The line outside, the ticket machine by the door, what they are asking when they ask about your noodles, and how to get a second helping. It is written down in the app, in plain English, so you can walk in and just eat.
■ Find ramen near you
Open the map and the shops around you are already there, closest first, with the walking distance from where you stand. Nothing else is mixed in - only ramen.
■ Cheer for a bowl
One photo of the bowl, one stamp - Delicious, Coming back, or Gotta share - and a short note if you feel like it. That is the whole review. Shops go up by how many people cheered, and nothing else.
■ Your bowl log
Every bowl you cheer for becomes a page in your own log, with the shop and the day. It is yours, and it stays.
■ A card you can share
After you cheer, the app makes a card from your photo. Save it, or send it anywhere you like.
■ Rankings
By station, by week, month, or all time. Promoted shops are kept in a separate row, never mixed into the ranking.
■ Built for travellers
English and Japanese. Shop names are shown in both, so you can match the sign on the door.
