The Duncanville Islamic Center was first established in December of 1995 and was located in a small suite, a single unit of its current location at 1419 Acton Avenue, Duncanville, TX 75137. Over the years, the masjid and community expanded and as such began to purchase the rest of the building as the need for growth demanded.

The focus of the Duncanville Islamic Center has evolved far beyond being simply a place of prayer for Muslims and is now a central hub of activities and services filling the needs of the Muslim community in and around the Duncanville area. Besides regular religious services, current programs include educational classes and lectures for both adults and children, youth group programs, and more.

Our community consists of nearly every kind of ethnic group found in the Muslim world and beyond which brings a wonderful variety of people to each community activity.
