About this app

HCM Field Worker is the companion app for field employees who use HCM. It shares your live location with your employer while you are on duty, so your team and managers can coordinate field work, verify attendance, and keep staff safe.

This app is intended for organizations whose field staff are informed that their location is shared during working hours. The app always shows you when location sharing is active.

KEY FEATURES
- Live location while on shift. Your position appears on your company HCM dashboard in real time.
- Works in the background. Tracking continues with the screen off or the app minimized, so you do not have to keep it open.
- Attendance aware. Sharing starts when you punch in from the HCM app and stops when you punch out.
- Clear status. The home screen always shows whether tracking is on, and explains the reason if it is not, for example location turned off or no internet.
- Reliable delivery. If you lose internet, locations are saved on your device and uploaded automatically when you are back online.
- Battery conscious. Efficient location updates designed for all day shifts.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Enter your company workspace and Company ID, then sign in with your employee credentials.
2. Go on duty and grant location permission. The app clearly explains what is collected before asking.
3. Your live location is shared with your employer for the duration of your shift.

TRANSPARENCY AND CONTROL
- A persistent notification is shown whenever location sharing is active.
- You can stop sharing by ending duty or punching out.
- Location data is used only for attendance and field work visibility within your organization, and is never sold.

REQUIREMENTS
- An active HCM account provided by your employer.
- Location permission including Allow all the time for background updates, and an internet connection.

HCM Field Worker is built for legitimate workforce management by employers and the field employees who work for them.

First test build of HCM Field Worker. Log in, tap "Go on duty", and grant Location "Allow all the time" + Notifications + disable battery optimization. Confirm your live location appears on the admin dashboard while the app is open, backgrounded, locked, and swiped from recents.
