I really do enjoy the stores, and the efforts that went into them, hence the 5 stars. The stories are really addictive. My only issue is how much it costs just to read 1 book. Reading one short book on this app costs waaaaay more then purchasing 3-4 books from a store. If you don't want to pay all that money, it would literally take over a month, and watching a bunch of ads, just to get through 1 story.

I do love the fact that anyone can upload and start their own series. I like the concept of making money, and then using the same to support other authors within the app. I wish there were more purchase options in the lower end. I'd rather spend $5 at a time repeatedly, than $20. Lots of opportunities for bonus credits, although watching videos for bonus only works about 50% of the time. Honestly surprised this time. The app has come a long way and is significantly better than before.

Predatory to both readers and writers. Their contracted writers are essentially held hostage; see the Writer Beware blog post for details on that. Readers get very short error-ridden chapters they have to pay crazy amounts of money for. Yes there are ads to get coins, but the amount of ads you have to watch to get enough is intolerable, and half the time it fails to register the ad you watched and doesn't give the coin. I'm going to try Inkitt and Readict instead and see if they are any better.
